Drum Power provides extended residencies in schools and community organizations that provide spaces to practice and build social and emotional skills through West African, Afro-Brazilian drumming and Afro-Cuban drumming. Yorel Lashley, PhD, a developmental psychologist and master percussionist, brings more than 20 years of experience as an educator and applied researcher to supporting students and educators.
